Bonnie Plant zucchini

My garden path has bone missing. It’s true. I can no longer see or get to my water barrel which is hidden behind the zucchini.

Wanna know the secret to growing the huge Bonnie Plant zucchini above? Manure. That’s it. It’s planted in a mix of manure and soil with nothing else added – no artificial fertilizers – no chemicals – no nothing.

Poop. Plain and simple. Truly organic.

What do you do to get your garden to grow?

  1. Poop, composted leaves, and dirt is what we use. Our zucchini looks much the same as yours. We're lookin at one of the best gardens we've had. We've been using poop and composted leaves for years, but this year the garden has really loved it better than in years past. Go figure.

  2. Mushroom compost. I have dogs that will eat and roll in manure, so I stayed away from that…

But my zucchini is just as big, and my tomatoes are about 4 feet tall, so I'm happy with the results. 🙂
