Engraved Garden Stone – A Garden Product Review

When Adirondack Stone Works said they wanted to send an engraved garden stone out to me, I was surprised and had my doubts on where I could place it in the garden. It’s made from a natural bluestone and is quite heavy and obvious in the garden at first. I planted it in a quirky little garden intersection in the front lawn vegetable garden where Spicy Globe Basil and Bright Lights Swiss Chard seems to mix randomly with Plants Nouveau’s Red-Eyed Gecko Colocasia.

Early in the season when the plants were small, the stone seemed naked in the spot. As the plants filled in around it, I would pass it and smile at my dragonfly which was surrounded by rich colors and the heavenly scented herbs. Late in the season the Spicy Globe Basil burst into white flower and was smothered in bees the rest of the season.  Thanks for sending the engraved stone out of Adirondack Stone Works — in the end I completely fell in love with it and would order one for myself or a friend. I think it’s a great gift for a gardener too – it is very sturdy and survived our very cold winter this year, not to mention my trampling all over it at every opportunity with my garden boots.
