Lemon Thyme Martini Cocktail Recipe
At last! AT LAAASSST it is herb season. You know what that means, right? Herbal cocktail recipes are at the forefront of my mind. Last season Amy Stewart’s super cool book The Drunken Botanist inspired a bevy of furious cocktail making and I have not been the same since. Turns out that  herbs + citrus = deliciousness. Below is one of my favorite inventions from the herb garden – a Lemon Thyme Herbal Martini Recipe. Watch the video below to see a quickie whip-up of the martini. Perfect with cucumber sandwiches and quiche for a fantastic summer luncheon!

Lemon Thyme Herbal Martini Recipe —The Drunken Botanist

  • Muddled Lemon Thyme — Handful
  • Citron Vodka — 2 oz.
  • Superfine sugar — 1 teaspoon
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • Ice

Throw all the ingredients in a shaker. Shake well. Strain ice and thyme out as you pour into a sugar-rimmed martini glass.
