Purple Iris
My first incredible flower in the spring is always this little purple Iris. It shouts warmth, happiness, and spring – although this year it made it’s shout while lying among the melting snow.
Usually the arrival of these little purple delights are heralded by a mad dash to the garden and my screaming, “My babies are born! My babies are born!” Uh yeah, I AM a crazy gardener, I thought you knew that already.
