Up the road a ways from my home in my very suburban neighborhood is a lovely little garden designed with orange colors and an adorable white cat. The gardener grows tall orange and mixed color zinnias along the city sidewalk that always make a show in August. Beyond the zinnias, the rest of her garden is decorated with plants that are varying shades of green. Her color design comes through with accessories like the amazing recycled orange garden chair that sits in the garden entryway above. Her goal with her urban garden is to make it a simple and comfortable place to relax; not perfection. I love that simplicity of design combined with bold colors. Don’t you?
