Design problem: What do you do if you have high windows in your home and they look devastatingly empty? Placing traditional plants up there is challenging because you have to climb up and water them all the time, right? What about a drought-tolerant low-water solution? Cactus.
In the above photo, you see one of my clever garden friend’s drought-tolerant cactus solutions for those ridiculously high windows. Best yet, the solution conserves water and supports allergies – no curtains mean lower house dust. Small cacti look marvelous in rows all over your home, not just in a window; they are perfect for dinner tables, kitchen counters, and a sunny bathroom as well.
