Vitamin-Rich Shade Vegetable Garden Design Wins Contest
Garden design contest
This year’s Garden2Blog 2012 Event with 20 of my closest blogger friends was SO FUN. One of the things we all did together was enter a garden design contest utilizing a raised 4 X 4 foot planting bed. I designed a shade vegetable garden with strong vitamin rich plants to help feed a family during our down economy. I utilized the techniques I have used in my own full shade garden at home. I am SO excited because it was a winner! WOOT!
There were so many good ideas, the Bonnie team chose four winners. All the winners had a professionally illustrated vision of their garden design permanently placed on the Bonnie website to help gardeners learn helpful tips. Here is a link to my winning design and the details for planting it – http://bonnieplants.com/library/vegetables-for-the-shade-4-x-4-foot-garden.
Meanwhile, if you would like to see all the other winners up close and personal, here are their stories.
