Why I Love This Modern Art Sculpture Patio Fountain

Artist Randy Bolander has an amazing career creating commissioned master works of absolutely incredible water sculptures in breathtaking sizes. His work is displayed in museums and at private institutions across the United States and the Caribbean.

When I first created my Art Gallery Side Yard Garden, I wanted to have an added feature of flowing water. Randy has created the perfect solution; mid-sized powder coated stainless steel fountains which are smaller versions of his much larger works of art. They dazzle with modern art sculpture patio fountain love and give the garden an AMAZING SOUND that takes my little art gallery from ordinary to extraordinary.

Each fountain is shaped vaguely of a minimalist X, with flowing water out the sides. The fountain comes in red, yellow, or orange (my favorite color in the garden). While minimalism is the theme with these delightful fountains, it really adds a punch of color to my maximalist cactus garden.

Fish in the Garden by Tyson Weiss

    $50.00

How to Display Your Ceramic Fish in the Garden Sculpture

Displaying your ceramic fish is really easy. They look great as a single fish piece in a garden container or in a flower bed. If you want a fluid look that has a stronger visual impact, it is best to place them “swimming” in groups of odd numbers such as 3, 5, 7, or 9 fish.

Fish in the garden sculptures look great meandering through container gardens (as I’ve done), curving around shrubs and trees, nestled in ponds, and dancing through dry creed beds. Tail directions can go both ways. If no direction is given then the fish are shipped with 50/50 when ordered in even number or 1/3 to 2/3 opposite tail directions when ordered in odd numbers.

My goal for my Art Gallery Garden was to have interesting schools of fish swimming through the elevated garden beds. This was accomplished by varying the size of the fish and mixing them up through the different elevated garden bed containers. I added sea shells and rocks to make the containers look even more “swimmy”. Then hung colorful canvas garden art all over the walls of the side yard. Feels like a colorful underwater experience in a unique garden space.
