Clay Pots Lining Shawna's Flagstone Path

Clay pots can be used for more than planting geraniums. Have you tried lining your paths with your old clay pots?

Desperate for color and garden interest in the early Spring garden, I splashed these pots – from very tiny to medium sized – along the side of my flagstone path. Whimsy with a bit of color to make my shade garden perk up. Notice the fiddleheads just now peeking up from my fern patch in the photo below.

Yearning for color in early spring? Try something new and creative!

What have you tried that is new and creative in your garden this season?

  1. I struggle to add some color in my garden because I have not be successful with growing flowers. So, I make up for it with colorful pots. I like your idea. I think I'll give it a try.
