Amazing books

Why am I grinning like the Cheshire Cat?

Because photos of my garden were featured in two new amazing books and they both arrived this week in the mail. HOORAY!

Above you see me holding the two books open to my special features pages. Garden Up! Smart Vertical Gardening for Small and Large Spaces by Susan Morrison and Rebecca Sweet features a photo of my vertical side yard garden (below right). The Edible Front Yard – The Mow-Less, Grow-More Plan for a Beautiful Bountiful Garden and Herbs by Ivette Soler features a photo of my front lawn vegetable garden (below left).

Ivette Soler is a whimsical, fun, and creative soul with a strong streak of common sense – her book, The Edible Front Yard, reflects this with clarity. She shows that learning how to build a front lawn edible garden is quite easy with this full-color guide book which features sustainable and practical ideas on how to get started. Beautiful photos which range from full edible garden designs to close up views of a snail’s beer bath make it easy for readers to get the right idea.

Susan Morrison and Rebecca Sweet are two successful landscapers who are also amazingly talented writers. Their full-color book, Garden Up, gives creative and straight forward ideas on how to raise your garden off the ground to new vertical heights. Fantastic photos of living walls, creative containers, gutter gardens, and more show the reader how fun it is to raise the garden bed up high for the eye.

Both books are wonderful and I cannot wait to see what these talented gardeners, writers, and photographers come up with next.

Thank you for including my photos in your books – I am so happy and proud of the them that I am sleeping with them under my pillow and have been grinning like a Cheshire cat all week!
