Icelandic Poppy Perfection – A Treat For the Heart

There was this amazing moment over the weekend when I was touring with the Second Annual Garden Blogger Spring Fling at the the Chicago Botanic Garden.
Leaving the English Walled Garden, I caught my breath as I turned to see what was ahead – this colorful display of hundreds of Icelandic Poppies on a hillside. Their delicate petals gently danced in the breeze like a silk scarf.
Perfection.
