Friday Quick Tips – Front Lawn Vegetable Garden Idea

Below is a photo of my front lawn in June – you know that I focus on helping feed the hungry and use my front lawn to do so. Above you see a creative front lawn garden which was built at the 2010 Chicago Flower and Garden Show. I absolutely love it – and encourage you to plan NOW for next seasons gardening adventures. Try growing a front lawn veggie garden so you can make a difference in your community!

Shawna I love your front yard garden. I recently just lost my 50 year old oak tree and have a very sunny front yard. I am planting citrus trees and growing lots of herbs and flowers next year. Just trying to plan the look! You have givin me some great ideas to start from, thanks!

Jenn – THANKS! Although your idea is great – keep it about cooking and feeding the world. A great way to make a difference in community!
